That 70’s Show

We have a confession to make: Secretly we are obsessed with the legendary TV show ‘That 70’s Show’. It’s the show that launched the careers of Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher. The 70’s vibe is also a trend that you can’t hide from this fall. So that easily became the inspiration for this Outfit Story. The 70’s trend is all about playing with warm colors, adding layers and mixing different materials. Lars went slightly over budget when he purchased this Dries Van Noten Perfecto jacket at the stocksales, but it was soooo worth it! Michelle created a playfull look by combining a Vintage fur jacket with a fun oversized dress. We opted to go for the warm, sunny colors that are so typical for that cozy 70’s feel. Pictures by Michelle Serdons

H&M x Balmain

Every year everybody’s secretly waiting for H&M to announce their newest collab with an amazing designer! And when they dropped the “Balmain Bomb” I was super excited! Balmain is a brand that I definitly want to see hanging in my closet, but sadly enough money doesn’t grow on tree’s. So thanks to H&M I got a little piece of Balmain hanging in my closet (a beautiful fluffy faux fur coat). Balmain History The fashion label was founded by Pierre Balmain and he released his first collection in 1945. Balmain had always set extremely high standards for couture. He believed in fashion that exuded elegance and simplicity and would stand the test of time and created pieces that would universally celebrate the human form. He wanted to create easy and glamorous looks that radiated style. In 2011 Olivier Rousteing (who we know from his amazing jawline and very kissable lips) became head designer of Balmain and created the beautiful collection for H&M! Scales of Grey

Lately we’re all about dressing ton-sur-ton. An entire outfit in one color is perfect for everyone who likes the minimalistic trend. Dressing in one color can be very flattering, it makes you appear slimmer and it elongates your silhouette. Although you can’t go wrong with this trend, you have to be careful that your outfit doesn’t become too boring. Don’t be shy to mix and match different textures, to create a richer look. In this outfit it’s all in the details: we combined a wool dressed pants and a polo shirt with a leather collar. It’s always nice to put a little bit of humor in your outfit. We completed this look with white sport socks and sneakers to give it a more sporty and quirky vibe. We were so happy to work together with the extremely talented, American photographer Hanne Denys for these pictures.
