Disneyland Paris 25

Disneyland Paris is celebrating it’s 25th birthday this year! What better reason to pay the famous park a visit? Let me start by telling you a little secret: I’ve never been to Disneyland before! As a kid I spent years of dreaming about going to Disneyland, but it never happened. Untill now! My wish finally got granted and I couldn’t be more excited to rediscover my inner child.     Together with my blogger friends and our photographer we woke up early to catch our TGV from Brussels to Paris. With all our chatting and laughter we were there before we even realized! By arrival we checked in at the beautiful New Port Bay Club Hotel. After putting on some Disney-appropriate outfits (Hey, we ARE fashion bloggers for a reason 😉 ) we were ready to discover the park!     I was truly amazed by how pretty everything is inside the Disney park. It’s fun to see everything you know from your beloved Disney movies come to life in real life. One …

#MODEinOOSTENDE Recap

It’s always cool to discover new hotspots in your own country, so we were really excited when we got invited by Belmodo and Visit Oostende for #MODEinOOSTENDE. #MODEinOOSTENDE is the perfect weekend to find out more about the boutiques and stores that this beach town has to offer. The participating shops showed off their best selection of brands and cool store interior while serving chilled drinks.  We started our weekend with a yummy lunch at Passe-Vite, it’s a small but cozy place with two very kind ladies at your service. We both took a salade which was freshly made with a lot of care and love. It was a definite must-go in Ostend!     With a map filled with stores to discover we started our shopping stroll throughout Ostend. We really loved the Vitrine Lulu Store , a tiny boutique with the coolest selection of Belgian-  and international designer pieces for women. ( Tim Van Steenbergen, Annemie Verbeke, Jil Sander Navy, Vivienne Westwood, Fuzzi, Jean Paul Gaultier, Maison Margiela MM6.) We both adored a perfect …

Albufeira

Summer is almost over but I’m pretty sure that a ton of people are still in need of sunshine, beach and cocktails. Can’t decide where you’ll be chillin’ in the next couple of weeks? Here’s a great tip: Albufeira, Portugal. Albufeira is in the south of Portugal in the Faro district. It’s known for its beautiful beaches, rocky landscape and hot weather. We booked a cool 4 person apartment at Golden Beach Apartments through sunweb.be, with an ocean view, airco and a pool with cocktailbar. Who wouldn’t be happy? Go-go’s in Albufeira Dolphin and cave watching. With a 2,5 h boattrip you visit the most beautiful caves and the amazing coastline of Algarve. We went across the most visited cave and jumped into the clear blue water next to the ”Submarine” rock. They say that The Beatles got inspired by this rock to created their song ‘‘ Yellow submarine”. Yeah, some tourists really believed this tale… After seeing a ton of tiny beaches we finally saw some wild dolphins! You can book your trip at …

Summer in Berlin

Citytrips are always a good idea. Not only for discovering new places but also to clear your head. Two weeks ago I took a flight together with one of our best friends Anne to Berlin (yes again). Last time when I was given a ticket to Berlin as a present I really lost my heart there. Now I was ready for a little bit of Summer in Berlin.   Hackesche Höfe   Because Anne had never been to Berlin we needed to see the well known touristic spots, like the Brandenburger Tor, the Berlin Wall, the Holocaust monument and the Berliner Dom. They were as pretty as I remembered. The fun thing about being in a city you’ve been before is that you can discover more spots which aren’t touristic. So don’t hesitate to visit a city twice. Last time I really loved Hackesche Höfe, a street filled with graffiti art en chill spots.   Berlin Wall   When we arrived we went straight to Burgermeister to eat the best burgers of Berlin. And daaamn …

Berlin

This year I got a citytrip as a graduation gift from my parents. It was such a hard decision to choose where to go to. So many places, so little time… I’ve heard a lot of fuzz about Berlin, that it’s an amazing city and a MUST SEE to discover! So the decision was made, Off to Berlin! This city trip was intended to be a ‘mother – daughter’ getaway, but we doubled the trouble with another ‘mom-daughter- duo. The first thing that caught my eye in this city were the amazing graffiti paintings. On every corner and almost every wall you could find (properly done) graffiti. This street art is characteristic for Berlin and it gives the city a very urban and cool vibe. If you’re in for a day of casual shopping you should visit Alexanderplatz, besides the stores you can find a few touristic attractions and some fun bars! Of course we also went shopping, girls will be girls… The second day we discovered Berlin on bike!  It was a great experience to discover the city in a fast …
